To maintain the peak performance and water saving benefits of your irrigation system, it should be inspected for proper function and adjustment at least twice per year.  Most systems have these inspections performed by a professional during winterization and spring start-up.  Proper preventative maintence will help avoid costly repairs and damage to turf and landscaping. 

 

We offer winterization, spring start-up, repair of any system, system expansion estimates, and yearly maintence agreements that include all of these services and more. 

 

We use equipment and tools for installation and service that will cause as little disruption to your yard as possible while providing depth of burial that will protect your irrigation system.  Systems that are buried too shallow are susceptible to damage due to several factors and will result in significantly higher maintenance costs over time. 

 

Our goal is to install irrigation, landscape lighting, and dog fencing systems that are so reliable that you will tell everyone you know about us.

 

     SPRING START-UP   (March and April)

Ø        Turn on and inspect water supply functions, including back flow preventer.

Ø        Verify proper control valve operation.

Ø        Clean and adjust heads, inspect heads & nozzles for damage.

Ø        Straighten heads as necessary.

Ø        Check program settings and reset as requested.

Ø        Survey property for leaks.

Ø        Inspect all other mechanical systems for defects. 

Ø        Updated map of property indicating valves, zones, timers, etc.

Ø        Inspect all other mechanical systems for defects, including rain sensor if applicable.

Ø        Regular crew of trained technicians.

Ø        Recommend repairs, changes or upgrades as needed.

 

    Winterization (Oct and Nov)

 

Ø        Turn-off water source

Ø        Blow out all pipes, valves, and heads

Ø        Position valves on back flow preventer for winter

Ø        Replace battery for back-up

Ø        Set controller to off position
